Details:

1. Application Submission:

Interested applicants are required to submit their proposals through the Taipei Veterans General Hospital / University System of Taiwan Joint Research Program Management System: https://rg.vghtpe.gov.tw/VGHWPR/

2. System Access:

The online application system is accessible only via institutional segment IPs.

2. Integration Requirements:
   1. Integrated projects must include at least two sub-projects jointly proposed by researchers from Veterans General Hospital and the University System of Taiwan.
   2. Physicians who hold full-time positions at universities and part-time appointments at Veterans General Hospitals must collaborate with university researchers. In addition, all subprojects may not be led solely by physicians and units from the same institution.
   3. For further details, please refer to the Guidelines for the VGHUST Joint Research Program (attached).
   4. Multi-year projects are required to apply and undergo review annually. Applicants should additionally describe the project’s contributions to the VGHUST Joint Research Program in the proposal to facilitate the review process.
3. Ethical Compliance:

Research projects involving human subject research, recombinant DNA experiments, or animal experiments must include approval documents or proof of submission from the relevant review committees at the time of application. Applications for such approvals shall be processed in accordance with the regulations of the respective institutional committees. All project applications must comply with the principles of academic integrity.
